one must update on Christmas. it's been a fun day. my mom got us up at 7:30. she gets so excited. she runs around screaming, "i think santa came, i think santa came." that's when abby and i walk sleepily towards the living room. i got a drill, a printer/scanner/copier thingy, a bocce set (cause i think that'll be something fun to play in the front yard, or on the umhb campus), some money, some dvds...stuff like that. good times. after that i went back to sleep for a little while. i woke up and ate lunch with the family, took a shower, and then my friend Chris came and picked me up in his dad's new corvette. i don't get cars like that. it's really expensive...and really big....but only holds two people. what's fun about only being able to take one other person with you. i mean, sometimes that's prefect...but if you've got a crew, you're screwed. i could buy two suvs that hold like 6 people a piece for the same price. silly. anywho....we went to blockbuster. i traded a dvd i got for the widescreen edition, and bought a movie i'd been wanting to see. it was vhs...and was 2.99. it's more than that to rent it. that's why i bought it. tonight we had a candle light service. it's usually on Christmas eve, but they changed it this year for some reason. it was nice. after that we went to the davis' house...they are family friends of ours. we traded gifts with them and ate. good times. since then i've been talking to people online and watching late night talk shows. nothing really good yet. i'm hoping carson daly will have a good musical guest. he's sometimes good at that. i guess i should go...i wouldn't be surprised if my sister wakes me up to go with her shopping in the morning since my mom and dad are heading to georgia. hope everyone had an awesome Christmas! don't forget about Jesus in the midst of all this family stuff and presents.
